Course learning outcomes
  1. student can list and describe characteristic properties and applications of electronic circuits discussed during lectures
  2. student can, for each basic class of electronic circuits discussed during lectures, conduct the analysis of operation, point its most important parameters and characteristics
  3. student can apply analytical computational methods and numerical simulation tools for analysis and designing of electronic circuits discussed during lectures
  4. student can conduct laboratory measurements of electronic circuits discussed during lectures, measure basic parameters and determine most important characteristics of investigated circuits
Programme learning outcomes
  1. Basic knowledge in the field of mathematics, physics and engineering and technical sciences; detailed knowldege in the field of electronics and telecommunications including selected issues from electrical engineering, automation and technical information technology.
  2. Ability to use one's knowledge to identify, formulate and solve a complex problem in the field of electronics or telecommunications, and to plan and conduct experiments including computer measurements and simulations; ability to think creatively, analyze and interpret the results and draw conclusions.
  3. Ability to use one's knowledge from the area of electrical circuits, analog and digital electronic circuits, microelectronics, microprocessor and computer systems as well as non-technical aspects to design, build, commision and test an electronic system.
  4. Ability to function effectively in a team (assuming different roles), whose members together set goals, plan and implement tasks. Awareness of the responsibility for decisions taken, especially in relation to the area of electronics and telecommunications.
